Term: slow_data
Definition:

In a centrifuge event the average value for each data channel (about once per second and user definable) is stored in the slow data file. The slow data and fast data files include configuration information about the data acquisition system, including sensor names, calibrations, units, etc.

Examples: For each event the user toggles a save button such that the high speed data is continuously logged to a file for a short duration – the fast data file. Every fast data file is associated with a slow data file. Sometimes the data acquisition software is started and stopped several times during an experiment such that multiple slow files are consecutively related. Files are associated with a time stamp and the event_id
