magnetic flux No definition provided Ryan McGranaghan 2023.04.16
MagneticFlux Is a measure of quantity of magnetism, taking into account the strength and the extent of a Magnetic Field. The SI unit of magnetic flux is the weber (in derived units: volt-seconds) Ryan McGranaghan 2023.04.16

magnetic local time On Earth, analogous to geographic local time.  MLT at a given location is determined by the angle subtended at the geomagnetic axis between the geomagnetic midnight meridian and the meridian that pass es through the location. 15 degrees = 1 h. The geomagnetic meridian containing the sub-solar point defines geomagnetic local noon, and the opposite meridian defines geomagnetic midnight. (See geomagnetic field.) Ryan McGranaghan 2023.04.16

magnetic moment No definition provided Ryan McGranaghan 2023.04.16
MagneticMoment A constant of motion related to thegyromotion of a particle in a magnetic field that is either static or slowlyvarying with respect to the gyroperiod. The magnetic moment is usuallydenoted by using th e lower case Greek letter for mu, 5, and can becalculated by using 5 = m u^2/2B where m is the particle mass, u is thevelocity of the particle perpendicular to the constant or average magneticfield direction, and B is the magnitude of the magnetic field strength.
